Community Ambassador Program

Building A and B

The Ambassador Program is designed specifically for community leaders and business executives to provide an overview of campus operations, programs, and student success. Ambassadors will meet on campus for six half-day sessions. Each session will offer special insight in one area of the college.

Applications are submitted to the Staff Liaison then forwarded to the Community Ambassador Committee. Upon acceptance of an application an interview will be scheduled to complete the process.

Selection Process

  • Can attend college events when available and enjoy!
  • Have submitted a completed Ambassador application
  • Have a desire to learn about Allan Hancock College.

March 15, 2018 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
May  18, 2018 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
July 26, 2018 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

TYPICAL SESSION DAY

12 – 1 p.m. Greetings and Lunch
1 – 1:40 p.m. Operations and LVC Campus
1:40 – 2 p.m. Law Enforcement Academy Overview
2 – 2:20 p.m. Fire Academy Overview
2:20 – 2:40 p.m. EMT Academy Overview
2:40 – 4 p.m. Tour of LVC and Public Safety Training Complex
