Financial Aid Resources

Below are some useful links to information about colleges/universities, and financial aid:

FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded financial assistance for education beyond high school.

CSAC - California Student Aid Commission is the principal state agency responsible for administering financial aid programs for students attending public and private universities, colleges, and vocational schools in California.

California Dream Act - The California Dream Act allows undocumented and documented students who meet certain provisions of AB 540 law to apply for and receive private scholarships. View the California Dream Act application.

Cal-Grant / Webgrant - A Cal Grant is money for college you don’t have to pay back. To qualify, you must meet the eligibility and financial requirements as well as any minimum GPA requirements. Cal Grants can be used at any University of California, California State University or California Community College, as well as qualifying independent and career colleges or technical schools in California.

"These teachers are amazing. They're willing to help make your vision and goals come true, whether it be here as a vocational training program or transferring to a four year university. There are so many great things about the fashion program. You're able to express yourself here. Allan Hancock College is where I started. I'm in a four-year university now but I know that without Allan Hancock College I wouldn't have gotten there."
