Priority Registration

How do I see my registration date? Time tickets (the first day you may register) will be issued for eligible students enrolling in winter and spring beginning October 30.

If you are a new or returning AHC student, once you complete the application for admission, you will receive 2 emails.  When you receive the email from AHC, (sent to the address provided in your application) it will include your AHC myHancock log-in information.  Please wait 60 minutes after receiving this email to log in to the myHancock portal.

All other students log into the myHancock portal with their current username and password.

Beginning after 10am on April 9, log into myHancock

  • click on the student tab
  • click on registration status in the myRegistration channel
  • select the correct semester
  • view your registration date and time

students may turn in their paperwork for the summer and fall 2018 terms beginning April 30, 2018.

Priority registration is the first five days of registration for each term.  Summer and fall registration begins April 30, 2018.

New Students and First Time Transfer Students must complete an orientation, English/Math Placement and attend an Educational Planning Workshop to be eligible for priority registration.  Click here for more information.  

First-time transfer students may be exempt from START (testing) if they have completed math and English at another college. Official transcripts must be submitted to the Allan Hancock College Admissions office prior to registering for classes.

Why did I lose my priority registration status?

  • Continuing students may lose their priority registration status if they are placed on academic or progress probation for two consecutive terms or they have completed more than 100 units at Allan Hancock College. The 100 unit limit does not include units earned in English as Second Language (ESL) or basic skills courses (500- level coursework).

Students who meet established criteria may be eligible to appeal for priority registration.
